Honorary Secretary

The Honorary Secretary is nominated by the President and is responsible to ensure that a complete record of the minutes and proceedings of the Board of Directors meeting be kept. The Secretary looks over the Secretariat to perform duties to the office or as may be prescribed by the President or Directors. Arranging all timely reports submissions to MOC and other respective authorities. This position helps manage and oversee personnel to ensure the execution of the day-to-day operations of the Chamber. The Honorary Secretary is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and discharging of all employees.

Arvind was born in 1964 in Bangkok. He attended Jaruwattana Nikul, Seventh Day Adventist School, Ruamrudee International School, and studied BBA at ABAC. Arvind had the privilege of learning the nuances of textiles from spinning and weaving to dyeing and finishing from the Indo-Thai Synthetics and Century Textiles Mill. This was useful when he joined the family textile business at M.R. Amarnath Co.,Ltd. and P.N. Thep Charon Co., Ltd. As he grew in the business, he adopted his father’s style of hard work, courtesy, and ethicality. Now, another generation has joined the business, expanding to include work with hotels, restaurants, MICE, real-estate, and holdings in listed companies.
