Executive Director of External Affairs (India Relations) & Trade Promotions
Responsible for managing relations with Government of India organizations, multiple state government offices, ministries, state chamber of commerce in India and organizations such as FICCI, CII, and PHD Chamber and BRICS. Also studies and analyzes opportunities in ASEAN and RCEP for members. Including sharing valuable information in regard to WTO and World Bank. Plan lectures, dinner talks, workshops, seminars etc. along with creating mega exhibition and corporate events.
Samir’s family relocated to Thailand when he was six years old. As a child, he studied at Ruamrudee International School before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. His professional career started at the Aditya Birla Group as a Project Engineer. He was the Director for Flowserve Corporation for Asia Pacific and then the Vice President Asia Pacific and EMEA for ITT Corporation before starting his own business. He also works with his siblings, doing business in Thailand and India in solar, oil, gas, and water, as well as several online businesses, including Omni Watches, Ta-To.com, PizzaMania.com, and LeLapinbangkok.com.
