On 24 April, the India-Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC) paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry of Thailand, together with senior officials from the Ministry.
The meeting highlighted the importance of industrial collaboration as a key driver of India-Thailand economic relations and explored ways to strengthen cooperation across strategic sectors.

Aligned with India’s “Look East” policy, the Chamber proposed several strategic collaborations designed to unlock new economic opportunities for both nations.
Leveraging India's Seafood Supply for Thailand's Food Processing Industry
India is one of the world’s largest seafood producers, while Thailand is globally recognized for its food processing capabilities. ITCC highlighted the potential for stronger cooperation between the two industries, creating new opportunities across regional and international markets.
Introducing India's Certified Pharmaceuticals and Herbal Medicines
The Chamber also proposed expanding access to India’s internationally recognized pharmaceutical products and traditional herbal medicines. This initiative could contribute to Thailand’s growing healthcare and wellness sectors while strengthening bilateral trade.
Supporting Indian Businesses in Automotive and Heavy Industries
