Commerce between India and Thailand existed long before the formal establishment of the India-Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC). Officially formed in 1974 as the Indian Society of Trade, its institutional roots trace back to 1968 legislation regulating foreign chambers in Thailand. Registered in 1969, it later adopted the name ITCC. The Chamber’s land was gifted by Mr. A.E. Nana, with its foundation stone laid in 1960.
