About the India–Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC)
The India–Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC) is a recognized not-for-profit organization, formally registered with both the Royal Thai Government and the Government of India. Established to strengthen bilateral trade and economic engagement, ITCC serves as a trusted bridge between the business communities of India and Thailand.
ITCC is an industry-led and industry-managed chamber, driven by the collective leadership of its members. A President and Executive Committee are elected every two years through the Annual General Meeting to guide the Chamber’s strategic direction and governance. The Executive Committee functions as the principal governing body and appoints sub-committees to advance specific industry, trade, and engagement initiatives.
As with all Presidents of Chambers of Commerce in Thailand, the President of ITCC is also a member of the Thai Board of Trade, ensuring institutional representation and facilitating direct engagement with government stakeholders on matters impacting bilateral commerce.
Beyond its formal structure, ITCC operates as a dynamic and influential business network — actively fostering partnerships, facilitating dialogue, promoting investment, and supporting meaningful collaboration between Indian and Thai enterprises. Through its initiatives, events, and policy engagement, ITCC plays a pivotal role in strengthening economic ties and creating long-term value for its members.
Our Vision

History
Commerce between India and Thailand existed long before the formal establishment of the India-Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC). Officially formed in 1974 as the Indian Society of Trade, its institutional roots trace back to 1968 legislation regulating foreign chambers in Thailand. Registered in 1969, it later adopted the name ITCC. The Chamber’s land was gifted by Mr. A.E. Nana, with its foundation stone laid in 1960.
